Overview

Mechanical Fitter with advanced hydraulics training, based in Taunton. Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE plus overtime at x1.5 and x2 on weekends. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00–17:00 and Friday 8:00–14:00.

  • Working with clients across the Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and Marine sectors

  • Full training and development provided, with a clear progression path into senior roles

Role details and environment

The successful candidate will be involved in the building, maintenance and installation of bespoke equipment and machinery in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Taunton. You will be working with high-profile clients across regulated sectors (Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and Marine). Occasional visits to customer premises for installation or servicing will be required; full expenses and overtime are covered. The majority of time will be workshop-based in Taunton. Overtime is paid at x1.5 on weekdays and Saturday mornings, and at double time on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
