Job summary

A well-established engineering company is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team across North Wales & North West. The ideal candidate will carry out maintenance, repairs, and mechanical installations. Essential experience in a similar role and a CSCS/CCNSG Card is required. Offering competitive pay up to £20 per hour and a temporary to permanent role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• CSCS/ CCNSG Card required.
• UK driving licence is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance.
• Carrying out repairs to machinery on site.
• Refurbishment of gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and seals.

For The Successful Mechanical Fitter Our Client Is Offering

• Up to £19 PAYE or £20 CIS
• Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
• Temporary to permanent role
• Overtime paid at x1.5
  
  

The Role - Mechanical Fitter

• Carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance
• Carrying out repairs to machinery on site
• Mechanical Installation and modification work
• Refurbishment of gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and seals
• Strip down work
  
  

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical fitting or maintenance BENEFICIAL
• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• CSCS/ CCNSG Card ESSENTIAL
• UK driving licence BENEFICIAL
• FLT & Scissor Life license - BENEFICIAL
