Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in Deeside

Job Details

• Pay: up to £18 per hour
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:00–16:00
• Duration: Temp to Perm
• Benefits: Overtime available most days paid at 1.5x

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including the repair and modification of on-site machinery. This includes installation work, mechanical stripdowns, and refurbishment of components such as gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and seals.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Mechanical Fitter role
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical fitting or maintenance

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence
• FLT and Scissor Lift licence
