My client based in Leamington Spa is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to assist in the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of fluid power systems. This role is primarily workshop-based with some travel to customer sites, approximately an 85/15 split.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Build fluid power systems from engineering drawings, including:
  2. Building motor pump sets
  3. Building reservoirs, installing bulkhead fittings, and fitting tank accessories
  4. Mounting valves and pipework or on manifolds
  5. Installing pipework (hoses and compression type)
  6. Receiving training in other activities such as hydraulic fault finding
  7. Undertaking other tasks within your capability as directed by the Operations Manager
  8. Following all company HSE and QA/QC policies in line with statutory requirements
  9. Ensuring right first time (RFT) completion of tasks
  10. Completing all allocated tasks efficiently

Position Requirements:

  • Clean, valid UK driver's license
  • Advanced Modern Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification
  • Hydraulic training (preferably NFPC)
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills
