Mechanical Fitter Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to work on a permanent basis near Oldham.

The role involves working 37 hours per week on a 2-pattern schedule:

1. Monday to Thursday, either with a 30-minute lunch or with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
2. Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm or 7 am to 12 pm (5 hours)

Salary is £32,234 per annum, plus:

• Flexible working

As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

• Setup, disassembly, inspection, repair, and re-assembly of small, medium, and large machinery
• Experience in mechanical conveyors/rolls service is desirable, but full training will be provided for those with fitting experience from other industries
