Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking to take your career to new heights? This company is currently seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Mechanical Fitter. If you have the right qualifications and experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the complete manufacturing of aircraft components, applying protective coatings and sealing as required to engineering-defined standards. You'll utilise both manual and automated technologies to ensure the highest quality of work. Additionally, you'll undertake various operations support roles, providing guidance and support to other areas of the business as needed.
What We're Looking For
The successful Mechanical Fitter candidate will hold an apprenticeship in a manual discipline, accredited by a recognised governing body. You should possess an SVQ Level 3 in your trade (or equivalent) and have a strong engineering background, either through a craft/technical apprenticeship or relevant work experience. Good communication skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also essential.
