Leeds
£41,000 + Bonus Schemes

Monday to Friday (Days) 7am-4pm

Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a mechanical fitter to oversee all maintenance activities on site.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing contractors
  • Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
  • Repairs on Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Maintaining plant equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes and motors
  • Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation is up to date
  • Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
  • Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
  • Good hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
  • Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
