Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a Nottingham-based role, working Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, with a 2:00 PM finish on Fridays. This is a temporary to permanent full-time position.

You will perform spanner work, use hand tools and work on small sections of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels, reading and interpreting schematics. Starting rate £13.20 per hour with potential to move to £14.40 per hour after probation and overtime at 1.5x for hours beyond 40.

• Basic knowledge of spanner work.
• Training provided if required.

Salary: £14.40 per hour with an X1.5 rate after 40 hours once confirmed as permanent. Initial rate: £13.20 per hour.

Job Type: Full time, Temporary to permanent.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with a 2:00 PM finish on Fridays.
