Job Description:

Mechanical Fitter - Permanent, Full-time

Graham Steelworks & Engineering Ltd is currently recruiting Mechanical Fitters to undertake the installation of a wide variety of steel fabrication projects. This role is primarily based throughout Northern Ireland, with potential requirements to work away from home.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to work from engineering drawings accurately to ensure proper installation and set out of components.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment, pipework, access steelwork, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Proficiency with tools, including power tools such as grinders, drills, and impactors.
  • CSR card.

Desirable but not essential:

  • PASMA, EUSR Water Hygiene, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Telehandler, MEWP training (training provided if necessary).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the water treatment industry is an advantage.

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience; training will be provided as needed.

What we offer:
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-15:30
  • Overtime available
  • 29 days annual leave
  • Salary: £15-19 per hour
