Overview

Our client based near Stretford, Manchester are looking to recruit Mechanical Fitters on a long term basis.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Applicants need to have experience working from drawings, assembling bespoke machinery for the Manufacturing Industry; Using skills such as pipe bending, pneumatics, installing pumps, hoses & motors.

Candidates need to be time served Mechanical Fitters, who can read drawings & mark out etc. The machines are bespoke so Fitters need to have the ability to complete a job which may need adjustments as they go on.

Hours of work

• Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.30
• Fri: 08.00-15.30
• Basic 39 hours.
• Usual overtime of 1-2 hours a day & Saturday morning.

Hourly Rates

• CIS/Limited Contractor:
• Basic: GBP22.00
• Overtime: GBP27.00 per hour
• PAYE: Basic: GBP17.00 - GBP18 per hour & half.

Umbrella Rates available
