Engineering Direct Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter for a food industry environment in Central Manchester. You will be responsible for moving and removing machinery and putting it into storage, with emphasis on safe lifting and shifting.

Applicants must have proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the food sector, with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. IPAF certification is required; an FLT licence is preferred but not essential, and local candidates are

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a food industry environment. In this role, you will be responsible for moving and taking out machinery and putting into storage. This will include lifting and shifting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role within the food industry
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings fluently
• IPAF required
• FLT licence preferred but not essential

Rate of Pay

• 50 - 60 hrs a week at a rate of £25.27
• Minimum 6 weeks
• Start date 18th December
