Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in pipe fitting.
  • Certified in Welder Approval Testing.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide site mechanical maintenance support.
  • Perform safe isolations of mechanical equipment.
  • Overhaul and test mechanical equipment on site.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provide site mechanical maintenance support
  • Safe isolations of mechanical equipment
  • Overhaul & testing of the site's mechanical equipment
  • Inspection, testing and service of all mechanical equipment
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution of mechanical problems across site
  • Installation & commissioning of minor mechanical projects
  • Work with the site team to efficiently resolve repeat problems
  • Involvement in health and safety audits and improvements
  • Use of organisational CMMS system
What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Skilled in ATEX pump refurbishment and rotary equipment
  • Pipe fitting experience
  • Welder Approval Testing certified

Desirable:

  • Basic electrical comprehension

Competitive Salary plus weekend call out allowance, minimum 6 hours at double time. Overtime paid at x 2. Please provide your salary expectations on your application. Hours: 40 hours per week 0730-1600 Monday to Friday. Location - Solvent Recovery Facility Garston, Liverpool, L19 8EG.
