We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to work on our projects. Someone who can add value and use this role as a stepping stone into higher-profile roles as we continue to grow. Whether you’re seeking further qualifications or more development, we support your growth.
We offer a very strong package: £35k basic, with the potential to earn up to £45k a year by working up to 50 hours (more if needed), including door-to-door travel time (40 hours on site). Along with additional benefits and development opportunities, this is a unique career move.
The person:
We are flexible regarding sector and experience but are looking for someone with a strong mechanical background, ideally with water/utilities experience.
You will use your mechanical expertise to oversee various projects, working with teams of engineers on site and utilizing hands-on skills. Experience with Penstocks, Motors, Bearings, Winches, Gearboxes, LOLER would be advantageous.
The role:
You will work on mechanical aspects of projects ranging from small-scale to multi-million-pound ventures. Some projects involve full site design and build, others focus on maintenance and installation, depending on client needs.
Most work is in the water & utility industry, but we are open to candidates with various industrial sector experience. We are looking for the right person.
