Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer, Salary 41,736 PA (paid monthly), working permanent days Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. Based: Cheddleton, Leek, Staffordshire
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to work within a chemical / fluid processing facility.
Applicants will need to be a qualified fitter and have experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter, preferably with experience from within a production / manufacturing / process plant or similar environment.
Key Duties:
Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks and improvement work on mechanical plant and equipment. Fault finding, maintenance and a variety of installation and fitting work on vessels, pumps, valves, steam system, compressed air etc To adopt a safe practice of working at all times and adhere to strict Health & Safety standards at all times.
Candidate requirements:
Qualified Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter Preferably experience within a production / manufacturing / process plant or similar environment. Experience of fluid processing or chemical processing would be advantageous. Experience of maintenance and fitting a range of mechanical plant and machinery
