Mechanical Fitter Job Opportunity in Knaresborough

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter for a full-time, temporary role in Knaresborough. The position offers a daily rate of £300-£500.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Rectify mechanical asset problems, including conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, valves, and cranes.
2. Perform PPM and reactive maintenance while maintaining high standards.
3. Participate in planned outages.
4. Operate workshop machinery, undertake fabrication, and refurbishment tasks.
5. Communicate problems promptly for quick resolution.
6. Contribute to Maintenance Team KPIs.
7. Use the site CMMS system effectively.
8. Participate in team briefings and toolbox talks.
9. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
10. Work safely under a designated safe system of work.
11. Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
