You will manage and prioritise your own workload and build relationships with operational customers, colleagues, suppliers, and contract partners. You will adhere to the Health and Safety policy, identify hazards, provide mitigations, and report hazards to ensure their removal. You will supervise approved contract partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where a permit to work is required. You will use Toughbook and/or iPad to capture all work activity and ensure status is updated per workflow processes. You will assist in developing and training apprentices and less experienced team members, and identify ways to improve the value and service of the Maintenance Function. You will install and commission new plant and equipment to relevant standards, diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, proactively identify follow-on work, conduct your own risk assessments, and create method statements when required to safely carry out maintenance activities. You will specify parts and equipment needed for procurement as part of day-to-day duties.
