Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities:
Main Duties and Requirements

• Follow build plans and established procedures.
• Install Pneumatic Circuits.
• Manage materials and equipment needed.
• Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
• Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
• Check output to ensure highest quality.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Keep records of production quantities and time.
• Report on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
• Manage Good In to ensure good organisation and cash flow of parts.
• Collection/delivery of parts as required.
• Other tasks as required by the business.

Other Duties

• Work in a responsible, tidy, and safe manner at all times regardless of where the work is being completed.
• Competently use the computer system in order to maintain files, operate appliances, and communicate with people and companies as required.
• Work within a team as well as on your own.
• Facilitate, where required, working weekends as dictated by machine build or commissioning requirements.
