We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our projects. You will add value and use this role as a stepping stone into higher-profile roles as we expand. Whether you're pursuing further qualifications or seeking more development, we support your growth.
We offer a competitive package: £35k basic, with potential earnings up to £45k for 50 hours/week (more if needed), including paid door-to-door travel time, with the standard 40 hours on-site. Additional benefits and future development opportunities make this a unique chance.
We are open regarding sector and experience but prefer someone with a strong mechanical background, especially in water/utilities if possible.
You will leverage your mechanical expertise to oversee various projects, working with on-site engineering teams and applying hands-on skills. Experience with Penstocks, Motors, Bearings, Winches, Gearboxes, LOLER would be advantageous.
You will work on the mechanical aspects of projects ranging from small-scale to multi-million-pound ventures. Some projects involve full design and build, others focus on maintenance and installation, depending on client needs.
Most work is in water & utility sectors, but experience across industrial sectors is also welcome. We seek the right candidate.
