Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a skilled mechanical fitter in the Kent area to maintain pumps, gears, motors and conveyors integral to our client's process operations. The role is a contract position with immediate start and requires hands-on maintenance experience in process industries.

You will carry out repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), and routine servicing, with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining pumps, gears, motors and conveyors.
• General maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs).
• Carry out maintenance tasks in a process industry environment.

Skilled mechanical fitter with a passion for maintaining the backbone of industrial processes is required in Kent. It's a contract position available immediately.

Job Details

• Mechanical fitter will be repairing and maintaining pumps, gears, motors and conveyors
• Mechanical fitter with previous experience in mechanical maintenance within the process industry
• Mechanical fitter will be responsible for general maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
• Mechanical fitter will start Immediately, £25-£27 ph, 8-9 hrs pd.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Ideally time-served with a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification
• Experience: Proficient in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment
• Tools & Transport: Must have own transport and tools
• Work Ethic: Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential
