Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Gloucester

Position: Permanent

Working hours: 39 hours Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday) 7:15 am to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:15 am to 13:15 on Friday

Salary: GBP31000

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their purpose-built manufacturing facility. They require Mechanical Fitters to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Bespoke build of automation machineries, following technical engineering drawings.
2. Assembling parts made from metals or other materials to create production equipment and machinery.
3. Building assemblies and sub-assemblies.
4. Build of pneumatic and hydraulics system.

Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Previous mechanical engineering experience and competence in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
3. A good understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics.
4. A desire to be part of a highly motivated team.
5. Hard working.
6. The knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting from a production or engineering type background is essential and the ability to interpret basic drawings is required.
