Job summary

MDE Consultants in Bristol is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join our established engineering operation. You will assemble fixtures ranging from small components to large assemblies, accurately from engineering drawings to a high standard.

Hours are set Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm, with overtime available and a clear route to a permanent position. A reliable team player with attention to detail will fit well in this role.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings to spec
• Assembling mechanical fixtures from components to large assemblies
• Maintaining high attention to detail during assembly
• Collaborating effectively with team to meet production targets

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical fixtures of varying sizes per drawings
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet specifications
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
