Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Job Location: Pensnett

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  1. Repairs to all types of industrial equipment, gearboxes, and mechanical components.
  2. Identify, initiate, plan, and drive continuous improvement processes.
  3. Contributing to the maintenance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  4. Good team working skills as well as working on own initiative.
  5. Ensure the quality and integrity of individual jobs.
  6. Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.

Working hours:

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm

Weekly hours: 39

ABOUT YOU:

A multi-skilled engineer capable of working on, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of Mechanical Industrial Rotating Equipment, Electric motors, Pumps & Gearboxes whilst working to and complying with the company's health & safety procedures and adhering to company SSW & RAMS. Working in engineering facilities both in-house and on-site at a variety of customer sites in the area, within a busy 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation supporting strategic customers from a well-equipped workshop environment. To continue to encourage participation, innovation & creativity to improve the working environment.
