Job summary

Gemmak Engineering, Bridgend, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for full-time, permanent work. The role covers installation of equipment and pipework, erection of structures, platforms and walkways on site, with a strong emphasis on working from installation drawings.

Immediate start is available. The ideal candidate will be experienced in mechanical installation of pipework and equipment, able to interpret drawings, and capable of solving on-site installation issues while maintaining safety and

Responsibilities

• Install equipment including pipework, valves and large structures on site.
• Erect in-house fabricated structures, platforms, walkways and handrailing.
• Work from installation drawings and address onsite installation challenges.

We require a Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. Responsibilities will include installation of a wide variety of equipment, from pipeline systems (including large diameter pipework and valves), erection of in-house fabricated structure, through to installation of platforms, walkways and handrailing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installation of pipework and equipment, they should have a strong understanding of working to installation drawings and be able to overcome general problems that come up when installing equipment’s on site.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £14.50-£16.00 per hour (Dependant upon experience)

Including company Vehicle

• Monday to Friday 40 H/W – Plus Overtime
