£32,240 - £40,000 depending on experience

The Role:
You'll be working in a well-equipped workshop handling both reactive and planned maintenance on skips (containers) and HGV trailers.

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Welding, painting, and replacing sheeting systems on skips
2. Diagnosing and fixing faults on HGV trailers
3. Running six-weekly inspections and "running repairs"
4. Working on gearboxes, hydraulics, batteries, oil systems & solar panels

You'll be supported with HGV Shunter training and access to a structured training curriculum. The team values proactive problem-solvers who take ownership of their craft.

What We're Looking For:

1. Strong mechanical skills and workshop experience
2. Good knowledge of gearboxes, hydraulics, or similar systems
3. A team player who takes pride in their work
4. Someone who doesn't accept “I don't know” as an answer
5. Your own tools (some equipment provided)

The Offer:
Salary: £32,240 – £40,000 (based on skills and qualifications)
Hours: Typically 6am–6pm or 7am–7pm, with flexibility
Shifts: Mix of Mon–Fri and 4-on-4-off patterns
