Job summary

A leading plant hire and equipment provider in Scotland is seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join their Bathgate depot. Responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in plant/vehicle maintenance, and experience in heavy equipment fitting is preferred. Hours and Pay

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm (45 hours)


• Salary: £39,500 per annum


• Overtime available (paid at time-and-a-half)


• Quarterly bonus scheme

Duties

• Service, maintain and repair plant machinery from well-known manufacturers


• Fault find and carry out inspections in line with regulations


• Complete PUWER & LOLER checks


• Work to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in plant / vehicle maintenance and repair


• Previous experience in plant, construction, or heavy equipment fitting would be prefered


• Good mechanical knowledge, Electrical knowledge would be a bonus


• UK driving licence
