Job Description:
Typical Responsibilities
  • Handle sprinkler small works installation from initial enquiry to final accounts, working alongside the small works manager.
  • Manage project finances, ensuring efficient and profitable delivery, including raising purchase and subcontract orders.
  • Oversee installation work on-site; attend client meetings; ensure health and safety; produce progress reports; and conduct project quality assurance checks.
  • Prepare and communicate detailed work programmes to meet deadlines and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, design teams, engineers, and subcontractors for timely delivery and information flow; report to clients, contractors, and authorities as needed, under the supervision of the small works manager.
  • Negotiate and prepare quotations for contract variations with assistance from the small works manager.
  • Compile technical reports, submittals, operating and maintenance manuals, and handover documents.
  • Identify and report deviations or nonconformities from scope, standards, or contract.
  • Travel within the UK and visit European suppliers as necessary.
  • Perform any other duties relevant to the role.
