Job Purpose

You will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, providing technical support to the Water Production team to repair and maintain water assets. Working in a fast-paced, modern maintenance environment, you will offer proactive, planned, and reactive support in all aspects of your expertise, ensuring compliance with company, statutory, and regulatory requirements while minimising environmental impact.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Efficient Maintenance: Implement mechanical maintenance and installation services with precision.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyse faults, rectify issues, and ensure the smooth operation of electrical instrumentation and systems-based equipment.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Safety First: Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and internal company policies.
  • Financial:Maintain financial control of predefined budgets.
  • Data Accuracy: Provide reliable, accurate, and complete asset performance and repair information for entry into corporate systems.
  • Innovative Solutions: Analyse and recommend solutions to recurring maintenance problems
Technical Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Extensive experience as a mechanical engineer.
  • Proven ability to analyse faults and implement comprehensive reactive solutions.
  • Previous experience in the water industry (desirable).

During the assessment process, we will also look for:

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and technical understanding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
