Mechanical Field Service, Repair & Assembly Engineer

Location: Southeast (home counties) (with UK & EMEA travel)

Salary: £45,000 per annum + excellent benefits + use of company vehicle

Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role

As a Mechanical Field Service, Repair & Assembly Engineer, you\'ll play a pivotal role in delivering on-site service excellence across the UK and EMEA. When not travelling, you\'ll be based within the manufacturing facility, supporting mechanical assembly operations alongside the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full on-site service, repair, and support for manufactured products
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK and EMEA
  • Manage product returns and repairs, producing detailed part reports
  • Support sales and engineering teams with inspection, quality control, and process delivery
  • Check production parts and customer kits prior to assembly
  • Work from technical drawings and ISO 9001 quality procedures
  • Operate overhead lifting equipment (training provided)
  • Lift and move machined parts up to 20kg

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded professional with a passion for hands-on engineering and customer service. You\'ll be confident working independently and collaboratively, with a strong eye for detail and a proactive approach.
