Job summary

Livingston Building Services is seeking an Experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our M&E Services Estimating team. The role supports the Estimating Manager in preparing comprehensive and competitive tenders.

The position covers analysis of tender enquiries, pricing documents, and liaison with operations and design teams. It emphasises strong communication and a proactive approach to value engineering and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender analysis and pricing.
• Knowledge of M&E tender processes.
• Hybrid working model between office and home.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender enquiry including project analysis and subcontractor/supplier enquiries.
• Submit tenders and breakdowns to clients and respond to queries.
• Prepare pricing documents and format into standard layouts using estimating software.
• Liaise with operations, surveyors and other parts of the business to analyse programmes.
• Undertake site surveys to identify potential risks.
• Maintain accurate estimate files in line with processes.
