Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join King and Moffatt, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple large-scale projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

This role will be part of an experienced team operating in a fast-paced environment, recognized for consistently meeting deadlines.

What You Will Do

1. Maintain the Tender folder accurately.
2. Review all tender documents thoroughly before estimating, identifying discrepancies between specifications, drawings, and the tender summary.
3. Record and submit RFIs with proper documentation.
4. Prepare estimates aligned with the provided tender summary.
5. List assumptions, clarifications, VE considerations, and conditions.
6. Submit tenders and update SharePoint with all costs.
7. Record details in the K&M Management system.
8. Follow up on tenders and record outcomes on SharePoint.
9. Participate in departmental and external meetings.
10. Stay updated with industry standards.
11. Develop skills according to the training plan.
12. Use Ireland and UK Terms and Conditions when submitting tenders.
13. Attend the Tender Handover Meeting upon project award.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as an Estimator in the building services sector.
