As a Mechanical Estimator at Primech Building Services, you will play a critical role in the bidding process for mechanical engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse project documents including drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Prepare detailed and well-organized quotations for submission to clients, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct thorough market research to gather information on material costs, labor rates, and market conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify risks and opportunities in project bids.
• Assist in preparing bid submissions and presenting estimates to management and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates and submissions for future reference and analysis.
• Continuously evaluate and improve estimation processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanical estimator in the building services or construction industry.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, processes, and regulations.
• Experience with estimation software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving license, as travel may be required.
