Here at KLA, we design, develop, and manufacture high-tech machines for the global semiconductor market. As a mechanical engineer, you will be working as part of a small, multidisciplinary design team with primary responsibilities involving the mechanical design of semiconductor processing tools.

Due to our continued growth and increased demand, we are expanding our team of mechanical engineers to help us continue providing outstanding products to key customers worldwide.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Designing 3D parts and creating 2D draft drawings using Solid Edge CAD
• Fault-finding and report writing
• Creating engineering bills of materials
• Bill of material cost control
• Supplier contact
• Building and testing prototypes

Candidate requirements:

• Has experience in machinery design, safety regulations, and EU harmonized standards including PL rating, risk assessments, and CE marking
• Previous experience in the semiconductor or high-technology industry is advantageous

• Has some understanding of software development
• Knowledge of ERP/PLM systems
