At amentum we have roles for Mechanical Engineers who have some experience of the following,

• Developing and implementing engineering solutions for complex engineering projects, from concept design proposals through to design for manufacture, the full project life cycle
• Identifying design, statutory and regulatory requirements, and contributing to risk assessments
• Producing technical reports, technical specifications and scoping calculations
• Reviewing technical deliverables, including reports and drawings
• Presenting engineering solutions to stakeholders and as part of design reviews
• Delivering your scope of work to time and budget
• Planning and co-ordinating engineering and design activities

Ideally you will already have:

• Degree Qualified/HNC/Incorporated/Chartered Engineer or be working towards gaining professional status
• Experienced in the use of Auto desk inventor
• Experienced in production and checking of Design justification reports (DJRs)
• Experienced of crane/ lifting equipment design
• Familiarity with CE Marking, CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PED, Machinery s Directive
• Knowledge of relevant drawing standards BS8888, BS5070 and BS EN 61082
