Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom

Pay Range: Up to £46,500 plus excellent package

Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting for a global manufacturer seeking a hands-on, mechanically biased engineer to maintain a production site that produces industry-leading products. Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment safely using appropriate tools.
• Examine machinery and equipment, report on their condition and performance, and lead improvements with autonomy.
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance according to schedules.
• Maintain the site to world-class standards.

Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or maintenance, or similar manufacturing qualification.
• Equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
