Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of courses. You will inspire and support learners to reach their full potential and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, inclusive and effective lessons and assessments.

Support and guide learners through tutorials and target setting (eILPs).

Monitor and promote learner progress, behaviour and achievement.

Ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance processes.

Provide information, advice and guidance to prospective and current students.

Contribute to curriculum development, enhancement and employer engagement.

Attend meetings, CPD and performance reviews as required.

Promote and model the College’s core values: Professional, Passionate, Collaborative, and FREDIE (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement).

Requirements:

Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).

Up-to-date knowledge of subject/vocational area.

Strong classroom management and planning skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying abilities.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare.

Desirable:

Experience in curriculum design and innovative assessment.

Understanding of quality assurance and professional teaching standards.
