Job summary

RNN Group’s North Notts College campus in Worksop is recruiting a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering on a permanent, part-time basis (22.5 hours per week, all year). You will deliver teaching and assessment up to Level 3, across practical machining, mechanical engineering operations, and related areas, engaging learners with practical, theoretical and digital methods.

The role involves developing resources, tracking learner progress, and working with a curriculum team to ensure high standards

Qualifications

• You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3+ or above, plus a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards.
• You will bring the subject to life using practical, theoretical and digital methods to engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3 across practical machining and mechanical engineering operations.
• Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
