About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, you will teach, support, and mentor students in the field of CAD, Thermodynamics, and Mechanical Principles to Level 5, helping them develop the skills needed to thrive in the engineering industry.

You will deliver engaging lessons, create high‑quality learning resources, and support students through both practical and theoretical elements of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and up‑to‑date lessons in CAD, focusing on software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other industry‑standard tools.
• Provide practical, hands‑on teaching experiences in CAD software and engineering design principles.
• Support students in their assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure teaching materials are current and reflective of industry standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with the department to foster a positive, collaborative learning environment.
