About the role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to our project teams, suppliers and stakeholders as we design, build and commission control and protection systems across our gas transmission network.
Day to day, you’ll be accountable for design development work as well as collaborating with delivery teams and external partners to help shape the future of our systems, overcome technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. You’ll provide expert guidance and support, ensuring compliance with legislation, technical standards and quality requirements, while also identifying opportunities for innovation, simplification and standardisation.
You’ll bring strong mechanical expertise, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. In return, we’ll invest in your development to keep you performing at your best while helping to deliver critical national infrastructure.
