Job summary

Pell Frischmann is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Water & Wastewater team in Croydon on a hybrid basis. You will contribute to a range of clean water and wastewater projects, delivering sustainable solutions for major UK water companies.

You will work with specialists across disciplines, supporting design reviews, documentation, and construction activities while developing professionally in a collaborative consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Experience delivering mechanical designs within water sector.
• Knowledge of water or wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; desire to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and engineering calculations.
• Equipment selection including pumps, valves, screens and process plant.
• Producing specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Participating in design reviews, HAZOPs and value engineering workshops.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Supporting project delivery through construction and commissioning.
