Responsibilities
  • Conduct hands-on failure analysis investigations
  • Plan and execute laboratory tests
  • Assist with field inspections
  • Communicate with clients and provide counsel
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
  • Participate in hearings, trials, and mediations
  • Manage multiple engagements daily
  • Provide project management and budget oversight
Qualifications
  • Ph.D./Sci.D or advanced degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related science
  • Research background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, combustion, or related fields
  • Experience with experimental design, hardware, instrumentation, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Curiosity and passion for exploring diverse problems
  • Strong deductive reasoning
  • Ability to quickly adapt and develop creative solutions
  • Leadership desire and capacity for auxiliary tasks in a growing firm
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Industry experience, including internships, highly valued
  • Chartered Engineering status valued but not required
  • Dual language fluency valued but not required
