About The Role

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team based at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide rapid response to breakdowns when required.
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting, and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment, and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
  • Follow up on faults identified during PPMs.
  • Maintain engineering standards to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability of the factory and systems.
  • Assist specialist subcontractors for PPM and reactive works.
  • Adhere to company QA and site procedures.
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and working condition.
  • Work proactively to support the business with a positive attitude.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
  • Keep workstations tidy and well-maintained.

About You
