Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Plumber at HMP Belmarsh in London. The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with at least two years of plumbing experience in heating or building services, and familiarity with Water Regulations and Legionella controls.

You will join a cross-functional maintenance team, supporting safe and secure prison operations with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent routes as listed (Plumbing/Heating, Mechanical Eng/Serrv).
• Minimum two years' experience as plumber or in an equivalent role.
• Familiar with Water Supply Regulations and Legionella (L8).
• Good knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and health & safety requirements.
