A leading company in the HVAC sector is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Salford, Manchester. The role requires sound mechanical knowledge and experience with commercial hot and cold-water systems. Location

Salford, Manchester

Working Hours

08:00 - 17:00 (initially, then shift pattern as follows; Day 1, 7am - 7pm; Day 2, 7am - 7pm; Day 3, 7pm - 7am; Day 4, 7pm - 7am; Days off as scheduled)

Pay Rate

Up to GBP 21.22 per hour

General Overview

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a site in Salford, Manchester. A sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential.

Key Requirements
  1. Experience working on commercial hot and cold-water systems.
  2. Approved and formal apprenticeship in Plumbing/Mechanical skills or relevant practical experience in a similar industry.
  3. Awareness of risk assessment and safe working practices with equipment.
  4. Ability to complete all statutory and non-statutory maintenance as per schedules and SLA's.
  5. Capability to complete reactive works in line with SLA's.
  6. Knowledge of Health & Safety standards, including ISO 9001 & 14001.
  7. Ability to interpret plans, method statements, technical diagrams, and communicate technical information effectively.
