Responsibilities
Size and design powertrains to meet vehicle attribute and market performance requirements.
Analyze market benchmarks and technologies related to hybrid (PHEV/MHEV) and electric propulsion systems.
Integrate powertrain hardware with vehicle systems, ensuring proper mechanical and power supply interfaces.
Collaborate with software, electrical, and vehicle integration teams to define system requirements.
Support the development of next-generation electrified propulsion systems.
Must Have
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with strong knowledge of mechanical design and powertrain sizing for automotive applications.
Practical experience with powertrain systems and their operation.
Strong project management, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze powertrain benchmarking data.
Good to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
5+ years of experience in powertrain mechanical sizing for BEV or hybrid vehicle applications.
