Job summary

Braden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Cramlington, UK office. You will translate customer and site requirements into safe, practical, and manufacturable solutions for retrofit and upgrade projects on gas turbine ancillary equipment.

Reporting to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Sales and external partners, ensuring designs are integrated, compliant and ready for installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 3+ years in mechanical/project-driven environments with retrofit/upgrade experience.
• Proficient in CAD tools and site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical solutions for retrofit, modification, and upgrade of gas turbine ancillary equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces across multiple teams and sites; ensure manufacturability and safety.
• Contribute to FEED studies, technical documentation, safety reviews and CDM compliance.
