Role Overview

Mechanical Engineers in the TXO Engineering & Services Department perform work in various areas including:

• Performing mechanical discipline engineering on capital projects and work orders
• Completing engineering studies to improve plant efficiency or reliability
• Providing technical support to operations and maintenance departments
• Leading project teams for large studies, troubleshooting, or repair projects
• Conducting reliability studies on plant equipment to identify improvement projects

Responsibilities

Depending on specific assignments, responsibilities may include:

• Providing discipline engineering for projects
• Conducting engineering studies for reliability improvements
• Developing and maintaining engineering standards
• Supporting plant operations through technical expertise

Education
