Mechanical Engineer – Day Shift – 3 on 3 off

Birmingham

£36,750 per annum (£35,000 plus 25% shift allowance)

Permanent static mechanical and plumbing engineer role, working at a landmark site in Birmingham. This role offers security, job stability, and access to world-class training and progression opportunities. The company promotes internally and upskills its workforce. The shift pattern is 3 days on, 3 days off, working nights from 7pm to 7am.

Your main duties will include:

  • Carrying out daily pre-planned and reactive tasks.
  • Maintenance on plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Maintenance on mechanical plant including Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units.
  • Stripping down machinery.
  • Boiler experience is highly advantageous (BOAS training will be provided for the successful candidate).

The ideal candidate will hold a formal qualification in plumbing, pipe fitting, or mechanical engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ), with previous maintenance experience and a desire to progress their career.
