YOUR TEAM - The Bristol office
- You will be joining a team with a strong forward workload / order book stretching into the middle of next year.
- You will be growing a team with lots of medium-term opportunities for career progression.
- You will work closely with like-minded individuals on exciting and challenging projects.
- Building Services in Bristol consists of 25 engineers and sustainability consultants, forming part of the MEP Team of nearly 400 engineers.

- You will be based in our Bristol office, with easy access via Bristol Temple Meads Train Station and within walking distance of Bristol City Centre.

- Building Services in Cardiff includes 20 engineers and sustainability consultants, part of the larger MEP Team.

- You will be based in our Cardiff office, accessible via Cardiff Central and Queen Street stations.
A little more about your role…
- Meet the requirements of an 'Engineer' grade with proven project experience.
- Work independently on technical aspects of your discipline.
- Interpret project needs and work under supervision or direction.
- Assess project feasibility within your discipline.
- Complete detailed designs and specifications, providing technical advice.
- Contribute to project design programs and resource planning.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
Key Technical Requirements
- Understanding of UK and European regulations applicable to your discipline.
- UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Experience with mechanical design software, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, TAS or IES.
- Ability to communicate technical details graphically.
- Knowledge of Part L regulations and ability to demonstrate compliance through calculations.
Mechanical Skills
- Knowledge of Hevacomp, U-value, heat loss/gain calculations, pipe and duct sizing, psychrometrics, control valves, thermal modelling, BMS systems.
Qualifications
- Honours degree in engineering or equivalent leading to Chartership.
- IES or TAS, Revit MEP training.
- Working towards IEng or CEng status.
- BEng/BSc/MEng in relevant discipline.
