MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS WANTED
PERMANENT ROLE

We are excited to be recruiting Mechanical and/or electrical engineers to join our clients team, at a modern facility based in BARTON.

Pay:

  • DAYS - Up to £41k per annum (dependant on experience)
  • AFTERS - Up to £43k per annum (dependant on experience)
  • Days - 7.30am-6pm, 6am-4.30pm, Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri rotating
  • Afters - 3.00pm-1.30am, Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri rotating

Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Providing rapid response to breakdown’s when required
  • Fault finding, trouble shooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
  • To follow up any faults picked up on PPM’s.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
  • To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements both for PPM and reactive works.
  • To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
  • Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
  • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
  • To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
  • Complete any other associated task requested by the management.
  • Ensure that workstations are kept tidy and well maintained

Desired skills & knowledge:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and relevant experience
  • Experience on both compressed air and hydraulic systems
  • PLC Qualification
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
