The company is known for its state-of-the-art designs and advanced manufacturing processes. Warrior Doors is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its team and support the continued development and production of innovative, high-security products.
This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a minimum of two years' experience in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, or product development. The successful candidate will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for designing, testing, and refining high-security doors and systems to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
Design and develop mechanical components for high-security doors, ensuring alignment with performance specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth design-to-manufacture transitions and resolve manufacturing issues.
Support the creation of technical drawings, product specifications, and prototypes.
Conduct functionality and durability tests on door systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues during manufacturing.
Work closely with the R&D team on new product innovations.
Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes and updates.
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, addressing technical queries.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining high-quality standards.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum of two years’ experience in mechanical design or manufacturing, preferably in sectors such as construction, security systems, or door manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of high-security door requirements is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly involving metalwork or security products.
Familiarity with product testing, certification processes, and industry compliance standards.
Understanding of structural design and load/strength analysis.
